In dining, that means comfort food (perhaps explaining local food media’s recent burger fixation. The stage equivalent — comfort theater, if you will — arises in low-risk revivals and shows that look back at happier days. Wilco’s Oct. 18 hometown show at UIC Pavilion is already sold out, and tickets for the 19th are going fast, but at press time there were seats left for front man Jeff Tweedy’s solo performance at 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, in Edgewater.
